CA Racetramp should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Congratulations to Ernie Irvan

Congratulations to Ernie Irvan, selected in 1998 as one of NASCAR's Top 50 Drivers, as an inductee into the Stock Car Hall of Fame. With 15 career NASCAR Winston Cup victories, 22 career NASCAR Winston Cup pole positions, 68 Top-5's and 124 Top-10's and over $11 million in career earnings, he deserves to be inducted. I wish I could be there to cheer him on, as I did every raceday during his career.

You go Ernie
Signed,
The CA Racetramp

I also have heard thet he is starting up his own race team.As a car owner. In one of the lower series- With a younger driver.
He said he wanted to give back to the sport which had given him so much.

Considering that he very nearly lost his life in the sport, that's a great attitude.

I am glad for Ernie. He was a great all-around racer who would have produced more had he not had so many concussions.

You got that right. In fact, it was Dale Sr. who helped him get started in Cup.

DE started & encouraged MANY young drivers. He was mentor to many of the best drivers out there. They may have hated him on the track- but they had total respect for him off the track. & if he said words to them---they listened.
