Ian-S ...thanks very much.....i does look expensive , but its something i would like to get soon , but is surly worth it when you get to see such races that others dont get to see.....thanks again...im going to look in to it.

It's presently running on the NBC feed
 One thing to remember, that NBC's next broadcast is in July, and Fox do scramble it so you probably won't find any Nascar 'till July. |

Question: Do UK VCR's use a format that will play tapes from America? I know German ones don't because I sent a tape of a race to a friend of mine and he couldn't play it. His said his VCR was PAL or something?

According to the Official NASCAR Rule Book, Rule 12-4-A, "actions deemed as detrimental to stock car racing", NASCAR should be fined and put on probation.

You will have to check your VCRs instuction book.Mine does,and I belive most new one's are now made to play both types.Some will even play French SECAM.

Most VCRs today can, as said, play both PAL & NTSC - even the most budget-oriented ones.
Very few, however, are able to record both PAL & NTSC, and the ones available on the private market (a select few) aren't exactly cheap either. |
