The Fat Clerk should be qualifying in the top 10 on the gridThe Fat Clerk should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Powernight Thursday Aug 21st

Just seen some paperwork for the event (I'm the voice on the end of the Flaggies radio again - sorry!):

Around 125 competitors are scheduled to line-up across the 5 race groups of…

1) Invitation Minis

2) Invitation Formula Fords

3) Invitation Ma5da MX5

4) Invitation Toyota MR2

5) Invitation Open Saloons & Sports

...providing an average 25 car grid for each of the 10 races. For their second races all cars will
line up in reverse order to their first race results providing the best unpredictable battles!

Looks good, if you'd like to join us, you can either contact Pam Dearn if you're E.S. or Alan (the Pieman) Tyson if you're not.

See you there.

Looking forward to this one, especially if they're just reversing the grid instead of the terrible handicapping that was attempted on the first one.

On Alan's list, so just sit & wait for the postie to deliver - just me, as Chrissy is having to work until after 8.

Nah, not quite, we don't use Observers as such, we are in Radio contact with each flag point, it's worked well so far.

Hi folks, just a few quick questions before I commit myself.

Is there a possibility of camping?
If so, where is the camping located?
What time would it be possible to arrive at the circuit and leave the following day?
I've not marshalled at Silverstone before so where would I sign on?

Sorry for all the questions.
