There are different sliding systems as well, all depends on the fabricator.

My HANS is a few years old and the sliding tethers were not avaible even on the Pro models

The newer systems have the different attachments. I do not think the Budget HAN has the sliding tethers but the PRO model does.


I have lots of visibility. At first I was thinking. OMG, cant turn my head cant see .... Never a problem on track.

The only place it is a problem is if I have to back out of my paddock stall on to the paddock access road to get to the false grid.

Now when I ware it, it like second nature. I would not race or even do practice sessions without it on

you can now by fittings for hans devices that let the securing strap slide so you can move your head more freely

Weren't available when I got my HANS two years ago, but gonna buy one of them sliding things for definite.
