Just pulling your leg. You should still try short track in these cars before you write it off completely. As for Rockingham, if all you want to do is go fast, fly a plane! It all has to start somewhere and Rockinghams time will come (providing they don't build over it). And the mid-size oval you keep wishing for is a lot closer than you seem to think. Anyway, I think the Pickups thread is well and truly Hijacked. If people wish to have an ASCAR disscussion, we should start another thread.

For those who are interested in these sort of things, the calendar has been tweaked slightly to move the Rockingham round that was back to back with the Thruxton round.

According to one of the teams ( www.smithmotorsport.co.uk ) the Croft meeting has now been canned as a result of the recent NIMBY court case, and will be replaced by a round at Sillystone. Nothing official on the organisers site yet though.
