Flywheel Lightening
Hi
Im just about to lighten my std GT flywheel down to min weight, but does this include the clutch plate? If so I will remove about 8mm of the ring on the rear of the flywheel and a light skim on the face, this should bring down to min weight if the clutch plate is included!! Also the flywheel has 110 teeth so presume could use with the metro pre-engaged starter? Thanks Mark ![]() |

Any ideas anyone, maybe someone could take a photo of the rear of a FF1600 flywheel?

I think a bloke called Stuart Sanders is the man to talk to about fly wheels.
His are made from solid helium from what i have heard in the paddock. I don't believe it myself as I think they are made from hydrogen. anyway, they must work as he goes like hell for an old git. Specially in the wet, when its like driving on oil, usually his. Last edited by Stephen Green; 24 Mar 2009 at 17:21. |
