You'll have to wait a couple of years before racing on the circuit - unless, you race T-cars. Designed for racers in there teens (with wads of money). Look good, quick and good stepping stone. I'm sure there are people on the forum to explain things better though.

Well as far as i understand you have to be at least 16. I think that another reason they brought in the T-car championship for racers in your scenario. See what others put on the thread but i'm sure its 16 or even 17?

Maybe the MSA could advise you on what you can and cannot do at 14?

mattray has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Why are you so desperate to race in monosposto? has a team been talking to you? Get in touch with Castle Combe they cater very well for young drivers they gave a licence to a boy of 15 last year I think. http://www.castlecombecircuit.co.uk contact details are there they will be happy to help!

okey dokey,

be careful who you talk to though plenty of teams out there ready to take your money! Any reason why you want to do Mono instead of anything else?

Looks a great step off karting 4 catergories(which use very good machines) which I should move up each year in getting more experience and then move on.go to www.monoposto.freeserve.co.uk/club.htm

You could always research the T Car route further by going to the BRSCC site. www.brscc.co.uk

Well best of luck in finding championships and getting you licence. If you do have to wait a year to race and dont want to carry on doing karting, a good thing to do is get a car and just test for a year, that way when you goto race you'll be quick(er). All the best
