Have a look at the footage and tell me that Bargs isn't impeded by the car in front! Whincup snuck up the inside and just touched Bargs at the apex. It wasn't a big impact but it was enough for Bargs to run out of room and it was actually the blue car, not Whincup, that managed to assist him into the wall.

Rubbin's racing as they say.

I still think you are venting because of the Bathurst incident between the two. For that, I haven't forgiven Whincup either!
Actually this incident is more clean cut than the other. Bargs was left, then right, so you can't expect someone to change directs 6 times to make a pass.
It seems from your post your saying Richards was the cause for the wall impact? I think you'll find bargs hit the wall, then bounced into richo, then hitting it again...... (As much as i'd love to blame richo for it, he was innocent in this one)

I've looked at the incident (again and again) and I can't see that Bargs hit the wall as a result of the brush with Whincup ('brush' is an accurate term in this instance). Whincup's pass was 'almost clean'. Look at the video link I posted. It's as clear as day.

Richards did most, if not all, of the damage to Bargs' car... not to mention damage to his own car.

My bad, 'almost' hits the wall

Just gonna throw this out there, had jamie not made contact with bargs, would he have been sideways? (thus the resulting contact with richo)
Didn't think so. Doesn't matter which way you look at it, jamie caused the crash. But were going around in circles now, was clearly established thats a legal move. Bring on Island 300 and karma

Indeed, I must admit.

After getting a chance to review the last 150k race of the day, in full. It does appear that Bargs may have had a hand in his own demise.

The footage that is missing that would help reveal a bit more is Bargs inboard cockpit camera angle. That way it might help to see his steering wheel input. I think if they showed that during the replay, I think we'd have a better understanding of what unfolded. As it's hard to tell weather Bargs broke his left steering on Whincup's or Richard's car.

So while admitting that, I'd like to make a public apology to both Axeman and mac and everyone else that viewed my poor performance in this thread. As it was uncalled for, and what I thought unfolded with the incident, was way off the mark. Sorry fella's, it was my blu completely, and I erred in a big way.

Toads, don't feel so bad. We all make mistakes from time to time. It's not often that people apologise when they admit their mistakes. Credit to you there.

Anyway, don't be discouraged from contributing more to the forum. We all have something of value to add.

Cheers Gentlemen

When I make a boo boo, I like to try to retify the situation. Hopefully I can take a lesson away from it.

I know Bargs had a go at me about my driving, but there is nothing to talk about in my pass on him. I don't know why he turned across me. It was textbook and the stewards and everyone in the pits saw it the same.

Knowing Frosties luck it was a wonder the FPR team Doctor didn't give him an injection of laxatives or a sedative, before each race!

Roland Dane needs to drag give Jamie into the office and give him some Viagra eye drops, so that he can have a good hard look at himself before he gets to the next round!!
