webber to test benetton

aussie gun mark webber has two test sessions for benetton coming . at danielsson circuit after the hungarian gp and a 3 day test at estoril after monza....lucky he didnt sign that contract with tom walkinshaw. in an interview webber says that both seats at benetton are already taken, but he could handle being benettons test driver and another year of f3000.

Good luck to the guy - he deserves a break, after being used as Mercedes-Benz's real-life 'crash test dummy' at Le Mans last season...

All the better being at Benetton, the soon-to-be Renault. Would be great to see another Aussie finally break into the true F1 ranks.

oh yeh this is about Webber isnt it...looks like a good time to get involved with benetton with the Renault thing coming on..lets hope it all works out well for him...another year in F3000 will probably do him well as long as he is at the front of course ...but fingers crossed that benetton give him a fair go.
