North American Grand Prix (NAGP)

Hi guys

I would just like to point you in the direction of a league that will be starting soon . This league runs with GTR2 .

http://www.northamericangp.com/

If you follow this link , you will have to sign in (new account) to download the nessessary mod and track pack into a clean GTR2 installation .

The league runs on Saturday's at 20:30 CET . It consists of an hour of qualyifing followed by a 2 hour race .

We will be starting season V of the ALMS season within the next few weeks .

The league has been polished up very finely indeed over the past 4 seasons by some wizards , and we have some great racers there ..... and clean racing is expected too !!!

Briefly .....

This season the ALMS league will run in 3 class's , 9 cars in P1 , 9 cars in P2 and 16 cars in GT2 .

For example in P1 we have Audi R10 , Pug 908 , Lola B06 , B07 , B08 and B09 , Cadillac , Ferrari 333SP , Acura and Radical SR10 and Aston/Lola just to name a few .

P2 we have the Acura , Lola B05 ,B06 , B07 , B08 and B09 , Radical SR9 , Porsche RS Spyder , theres more .

Gt2 we have Aston DBRS9 , Vantage , Porsche 996 & 997 , Ferrari F430 , BWM GTR & E92 , Corvette C6R , Ford Gt and Jaguar XKR , Panoz Vipers and Spykers too .

The season will run for 15 events , mostly on ALMS tracks , Mosport , Laguna , Mid Ohio , Houston ,Belle Island , Miller , Road Atlanta , Sebring for example with Le Mans and Spa thrown in for good measure .

A max of 2 types of car are allowed , for example , there is a choice of 16 Porsche 997 , but only 2 will be allowed to race in the league , It adds to the realism . So you dont end up with 6 Pugs against 6 Audi R10 for example . There will be a limit of 2 Audi's against 2 Pug's .

There will also be some prizes for championship class wins and some other special prizes too .

NAGP is a great place to be and hang out . It is also required to install a program called ventrilo . This program allows you to talk to the other drivers in the league and for example swop information on setups and general friendly banter .

I have been a member of this league for the last year , and can honestly say that if you are looking for clean competitive sportscar racing , then this is the place to be !!!

Hope to see some of you guys there .

There are still a few places left in GT2 .

We should have 10 P1 and possibily 20 GT2 cars for this season .

All the P1 are assigned now .

rabbit_racer should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Come on folks.. you know you want to race online!!!

We do have some spots open in GT2 and I think maybe one spot open in LMP1. We have an awesome group of racers for this season and the racing is going to be incredibly tight.

First race is from Sebring w/qualifying this weekend.
