It doesn't have to be special to be different. The other LMP's are using raised fender edges and placing the holes closer to the edge. Toyota seems to have gone a different route, unless they change it, again. This picture-
I am talking about the holes attached to the nose cone- you think they're for brake cooling? |

is it wrong to think that this thing is attractive? i reckon it looks more sinister and better looking than the Audi or the crashed version of the TS030

Well Full LED front lights, as we all anticipated! .
Does anyone knows if Supercapacitors generate heat when charged/decharged? |

Any capacitor has ESR. or internal equivalent series resistance. and resistance acts as a heater. Power of heater =Resistance x Current^2, and the currents are huge in these things. Also there is probably heat being generated by the internal chemical/physical characteristics of the dialectic material....They also vibrate which generates heat as well). But how much heat is generated compared to the flywheel system is probably an order of magnitude less. |

the heat surely will be dissipated in someway, is unprobable to think that will effect so heavily the internal temp of cockpit (that however is air-conditioned)... the true problems of heating in the supercapacitors are others

The supercapacitor pack is water or oil cooled.

So if I heard that right on RLM Graham Goodwin said TMG's chairman said that the worldwide carbon fibre shortage has hampered them in getting the chassis built.
And he has confirmed that they will be running at all WEC rounds post Le Mans. |

strangly any f1 team or chassis manufacter didn't report this... is so hard admit that because of some problem the car wasn't still reliable to debut at spa? About the remaining races, well ACO did the 6 best result rule to please toyota requests, would be really disappointing by them to don't accomplish to this.

Graham said the second car will probably do its shakedown at the Le Mans test day. He suspected that they might run 2 cars in all post Le Mans races |

Think this was the issue. They reportedly had enough for 1.5 chassis when the programme was first green-lit. Obviously then things had to be accelerated.

I guess that Graham will write down the interview in an article. |

I just remember another thing Graham said. The hybrid system of the TS030 is 4 times more efficient (energy vs weight) than the system of the hybrid Supra.

A bit strange that they did not carry over the F1 style brake ducts, like Audi is using.
What is your take on the small flaps? Are they legal? I guess they have checked with the ACO. |
