Hey guys, I wonder if there's any news of this upcoming series in India?

They maybe have Formula One, but they need to build a racing series for upcoming talents across the country.

Wasn't this originally supposed to start this year? And when I first heard about it I got the feeling that it was supposed to attract a lot of has-beens with prize money. Actually back then it sounded more like a direct continuation of the failed Speedcar series.

Yes it was, but first they cancelled the first 1 or 2 rounds, then they postponed the whole thing to 2013.

Not a good sign for things to come, but let's wait and see, shall we?

You mean that Speedcar Series which former F1 drivers race in stock cars? And does it have a connection with the i1 Super Series?
