Solid drive maybe, but he could/should have done better.

I agree that test drivers need to get more seat time, but Jérôme finished 45 seconds behind his teammate.
After that 53 laps, that equals 8 tenths of a second a lap. Too much, in my opinion ...

I never expected him to be on the podium or score many points, but he should have been closer to the top 10.
Finishing behind the Toro Rosso is disappointment.

Without testing a new driver is a potential hazard on the track. Can you imagine the outcome if Grosjean's accident involved Jerome and the car landed on Alonso? It often takes a negative outcome to change the rules.

Was KERSless all race. That probably cost him a good chunk of time.

Yea, Ive just read that KERS failde him at the early stage of the race. The report I've read didnt specify if he indeed drove the whole race without it, OR, as it happened to Kimi before, needed to save like 10% a lap to keep it going OR maybe a reoccurring problem sometimes faded and sometimes came back on, as we've seen it many times this season too... I dont know, but of all tracks a KERS issue in Monza is quite a biggie to be fair.

Still dont think he was within a shot to score a point, but maybe Im just being to negative here
