Will there be a live stream available for these races? Nice to see a full grid, pleasantly surprised. This planet DOES need one regional series in addition to the WEC for Le Mans spec cars apparently. It's just on the wrong side of the ocean for me now.

Going by what Jack Leconte said, they dont have enough money for two cars for WEC so this must be their fallback plan, Im guessing ELMS is affordable if WEC isnt.
Yeah I saw Dutch team called Kox Racing with a Lambo and with Peter Kox on the driver lineup so this is his actual team? |

I like the ELMS calendar a lot, so I'm glad to see a better entry list than expected. Definitely worth a look now.

It is great to see the ELMS have a healthy grid lineup for 2013, especially when I was so ready to slate it for being a dead series.
It will be interesting to see how the GTC and GTE cars compare in terms of pace. Will the GTC cars be restrained slightly to maintain a differentiation between the 2 classes? |

They probably should be, otherwise they would be suffering constant humiliation in qualifying at the hands of one P. Kox.

Success comes at a price. What is ACO/FIA BoP for the GTC cars?

Arent the GTC cars allready restricted by having to be 1 year old? The 2013 spec cars in the Pro class should have the necessary performance upgrades to ensure they are faster than the 2012 spec cars. Ok there might be some 2012 cars going quicker than some of the slower 2013 ones but isnt that what sportscar racing is all about? I for one love seeing the fastest cars in a slower class going head to head with the class ahead. Last years GT Pro cars racing with some of the slower LMP2's being a good example.

GTE AM cars have to be a year old, don't think that applies to GT3 cars in GTC.

Sorry my mistake I got confused, I thought the GTC class was the AM class of the main GT class and forgot that GT3 cars are now part of the ELMS!

"Ecurie Ecosse will continue its revival in 2013 running twin programmes in the GTC class of the European Le Mans Series and the GT3 category of the British GT Championship."
From the article on Dailysportscar.com, looks like a good boost to the GTC class. |

Looks like they want to use the ELMS as a springboard to going back to Le Mans so that's the ladder system working perfectly I suppose. Glad we'll be able to enjoy a Z4 at Silverstone.

Makes me wonder if they'll jump on a GTE Z4 to get to Le Mans next year?
