Williams director and shareholder Toto Wolff is in line for a major job at Mercedes according to Autosport. He is already a major shareholder in HWA so is well known to MB.
Where will that leave his position at Williams as he has partly replaced Adam Parr and nobody has been appointed to fully replace him. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/105206 |

Without getting into the rights and wrongs of the situation, it isn't particularly unusual. For instance, Flavio Briatore was running Benetton at the same time as owning large stakes in Ligier and Minardi. Outside of F1, Christian Danner entered some CART races in '97 for Payton-Coyne whilst being a shareholder in the rival Project Indy team.

I see where Claire Williams has become deputy team principal. After Sir Frank's two previous attempts to appoint a successor it looks like he has now gone for family. I hope it works out for all concerned.
