AiM data logger temp sensor question
I'm looking at connecting a Bosch or similar NTC temp sensor to a analog channel on an EVO4 logger but cant seem to find any info on how I would wire it or work out the mv scale to make a custom sensor. I have the data sheet for the sensor in C° = ohms. can anyone help me with this?

Race Studio wants to see a voltage. So you need to make a potential divider circuit:
Supply Voltage from Evo Sensor Here Signal Output to Evo Resistor Ground to Evo I don't think the Evo4 has internal pull-up/down resistors, so you'll have to wire up your own. You should be able to work out what resistor you need so that you use as much of the 0-5V scale as possible (although that's not really critical unless you want the best resolution possible on your sensor). Maybe that'll help, but I don't know your level of technical know-how, so that might be gobble-de-gook. |

I did find a picture of a circuit not sure if it correct, but it was as follows.
5v through a 2k resister to the signal, then the signal and Gound connected to the sensor. The formula was, mv= 5000*(Sensor Resistance/(Sensor Resistance+2Kohm) Does this sound Correct? |
