Might have something to do with the Council, and its take over and control of leases at the site, also, it has change from Willowbank Motorsport Precint to Ipswich Motor Sport, sign on QR gate 1 entrey, Ipswich Council welcomes you to Queensland Raceway.

Ask a couple of the others out there, IWMAC( Ipswich West Morten Auto Club) Ipswich council has a belief it can run and control the place.

Where we use to camp at Lease D, is now leased to another group, Junior SPeedway, and Ipswich Council, banned camping there as there was no facilities, Wow, Camped ther efor years, Toilet block etc, V8's a couple of years ago, even brought in shower module, it seems the Council, know best. That could be the Tenants problem, local Govt

Interestingly, North side council supports Lakeside, and let the Tenant run it, Ipswich Motorsport , is controlled by council, go figure

we all know what a help local councils can be to motorsport, just ask winton about the benalla council
