Hi, we are arriving on the Thursday and are staying at the Flexotel village. We won't have our own wheels. I've noticed that in the past, there has been transport around the circuit over the race weekend, but haven't seen anything on the website to indicate that being the case this year. Does anyone know what transport will be available this year? I'm counting already on walking a lot over the course of the weekend, but wasn't too sure of what's available to get to the furthermost points of the circuit, particularly on the Saturday night. Thanks in advance.

There are two types of circuit transport, a small train like vehicle runs from the porsche curves to the main area and there are buses to take you to mulsanne corner viewing area and arnarge, however be warned the buses are slow and the queue particularly coming back can sometimes be long, you could wait an hour or so just to get back on one

The buses are pretty hit and miss but worth it in the sense that you really need to get out there and see Mulsanne/Arnage.
There should be some times nearer the race. What you want to avoid is going too late on the Saturday and getting stranded/having to walk back. We normally get the bus about 6.30/7am Sunday. Still a bit frustrating in terms of the wait but you can get them, spend a couple of hours at each and then get back for the finish. |

A couple of years back young Roger Davies walked the whole lap.
He has NOT divulged how, or any other details, but I can quite believe him... So there's your challenge? Do a lap! Failing that, I echo all the highlights above. Make sure you use as many grandstands as possible on practice days, while they are free for all. Definitely ride the big wheel. Otherwise, just relax, and enjoy! |

Blimey that must have been one hell of a walk the track is long enough but with detours around private land and the gendarmes he must have walked close on 25 km's how long did it take
