It's not that JV needs 20M US in order to live. However, in an interview several months back, he says he believes he's worth 20M US. I guess anything less will be an admittance that he is not a very good driver? Is he worth 20M US/year b/c of his talent? That is to be decided.

So it seems everyone has to decide for themselves. Would you want an "also ran/backmarker career" in F1 or an extremely stunning lower level (CART,DTM,ETCC,etc..) career? And in JV's case, I would also assume that a backmarer career in F1 brings in more $$$ than a stunning career in everything else? Or at least until his contract runs out in '03.

I would love to see Jacques in CART again, especially as Paul's teammate. What a formidable combo this would be.
