The car looks great, having seen it live today, very striking indeed.

Tbh I have been a bit disappointed by the lack of performance.

Seems the s103 carry s on where the s102 finished, very quick in a straight line, fastest LMP2 of the weekend.

Jonny Kane seemed pretty downbeat about the performance when he was interviewed during the race.

Even leaving aside the horrific start the overall impression I got is it really should have been a touch more rapid. |

Although it was a disappointing race, the car seems to be designed for Le Mans and so hopefully it will be better at Spa and Le Mans

Blank space in the behind the radiator is impressive. This blank space is existing to minimize the damage in tire burst. Last edited by Japanese Samurai; 15 Apr 2015 at 02:54. |

Link is dead.
To improve the survival performance when crashing, reservoir tanks are mounted inside the bulkhead. https://www.flickr.com/photos/povo1/16781077230/ |

Sorry for off topic.
Minoru Hayashi would like to hold local championship of FIA-F4. And he'd like to develop cheaper "Formula 5" car based on FIA-F4 car. http://www.dome.co.jp/column/dt_90.html |

I don't know if it is the track that suits the car better, or the drivers pushing harder than the others, or may be the Michelin tires, but the Dome was first on both practices.

Looking at best sector times from fp1- which was less wet- the Dome has 8 tenths on the nearest lmp2. In sector 2 alone, its 7 tenths better than its rivals.

Strakka have switched to Dunlops. Hopefully they'll be more on the pace now. It would be shame for, IMO, the best looking p2 car to continue toiling away at the back.

They seem to hint that they may be able to pick up some pace on the Dunlops, but they didn't come right out and blame the Michelins. I believe the quote was something like, 'removing the variables between us and the competition to fully gauge our pace'.....

As LMP2 will still be open type in 2017, I hope either more people go on michelins or that another type manufacturer does join the party

Bridgestone was rumored to be looking at the wec. Thatd be nice to see on a prototype.

There is mention in this S365 story about Toyo looking at GTLM. It would be nice to have someone fill the gap left by Falken, and even better if they thought about prototypes as well.

Strakka will not submit a proposal for the new lmp2 regs. So the S103 might be the last Dome prototype sadly

This saddens me, as when I first started to get into Le Mans, I was a fan of the racing for Holland Dome. I hope that before 2017, that they are able to show the full potential of the S103

They would have already if someone had given them the money. But no one has. So it's dead in the water.

Plus Toyota has pretty much bought up most of Dome's resources.
