"Behind the scenes" - so basically he was in the (Audi?) hospitality before the final corner and above the pits, then got access to the back of Aston Martin's garage!

Watched the official ACO '52 edit. Near start Hindy says that there are eight constructors with official teams in the race.
Audi Porsche Toyota Nissan Alpine Ferrari Aston Martin Corvette Lol if some stickers on old Oreca Courage makes you an official constructor (in a class of no official constructors), why not include other fakers such as Morgan there as well. While of course ignoring real LMP constructors like Oak. And no matter how much they'd like to present AF Corse as official Ferrari, it is not... almost isn't the same In real world there were six official commercial car manucturers this year, followed by numerous private racing constructers, plus supported Ferrari GT representative. I've never really had a problem with considering AF Corse as "Ferrari". If that was a works effort how much different would it really look?
I'd guess there might be a bit of external polish (and a cleaner looking livery) but surely it would still be AF Corse people running things, similar to a Prodrive/Pratt & Miller? Drivers would also be the same. |
