No official comment yet.
But there is no sense of crisis about the survival of the SGT series at present.
Autosport magazine puts the introduction of hybrid systems (spec hybrid systems, but competition in energy management) and next-generation engines (3 cylinder turbo engine) on the SGT's next agenda.

Wait, they're moving to 3-cylinder engines? I think an Inline-4 engine is fine but I feel that 3-cylinder engines is reserved for Mother Chassis.

It's easier if they keep it in one country for this year. At least there are proper tracks like Suzuka and Fuji over in Japan. Hope this season can be as good as last season

Agree. Although it will be felt less than ideal with eliminating some circuits,
I'm still appreciating Super GT efforts to make sure all 8 Rounds are on the calendar.

But there are still issues for foreign racers when entering Japan, some of them might not be able to attend pre-season test at June due to some procedures, at least for 14-day quarantine.

*Since we have reduced costs by introducing common parts according to Class 1, Super GT is a category where new manufacturers can participate at very low costs.
Interested manufacturers always welcome.
There is a competition, entertainment in Super GT.
And I have a pride in creating such an exciting category.

*European manufacturers are in a difficult situation, but future growth markets are in Asia. Considering marketing in Asia, SGT has high value as a category.
I want to say, "Welcome if you participate in."

*We use current regulations till 2022.
Regarding the regulations after 2023, we will discuss including environmental measures such as hybrid system and the use of alcohol fuel.
However, we won't throw away the elements that stimulate the acoustic senses, smells, and fifth senses (in a word, SGT won't throw away engine.).

Bandoh seems to have written off the Germans and is looking towards Asia for the future. Would a new generation GT300 mother chassis tie up with Korea, China or Thailand, Korea super race are already running Supra bodied cars this weekend.

I feel bit worried about Nissan on hybrid system. While Honda (F1) and Toyota (WEC) are pretty successful on their own worlds, Nissan didn't do pretty well at 2015 LMP1 program although later they found way to race at Formula E.

Nissan must know something others don't, I'm sure they have a good reason for doing it. Can't really compare it to other series, although Honda and Toyota have shown what happens if you do your homework and put effort into it. Obviously Nissan's LMP1 program was perhaps overambitious, but they've more than made up for it since. Watch them go

Wow that’s one radical looking Impreza. Especially compared to the other Subaru’s raced in GT300

No.
Autosport magazine says that this is a full-scale mockup that was to be exhibited at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2009(?) (However, it wasn't actually exhibited.).

It's a shame that the streamlined Cusco Subaru Impreza GT300 didn't race in 2009. Still, I wonder if it has all-wheel drive much like the 2006 Impreza?

Anyways, since Super GT will return next month, any news on who will stream the race outside Japan?

No mentions.
This is a hearsay style article that Autosport magazine got these secret photos.
This is a show car mock-up for TAS 2009.
This chassis is not used based model's monocoque (GRB Impreza).
So it is very agressive prototype GT300 car.
Carrosser (Cusco Racing) had intend to participate in GT300 by this car in 2009 in the name of the impreza "concept".
Probably the front engine AWD drive system was adopted.
However the team had withdrawn from SGT by 2008.
That's all story.
