Really enjoyed the race and great drive by a fired up Cook but rules are rules and whatever the circumstances I don't think anyone could begrudge Butcher a victory.
Not sure what's going on in the Ginetta race at turn 1 |

Failing the ride height in the wet isn't the most uncommon thing, Sheddon 2017, Sutton and Ingram 2018, is it actually damage or teams forgetting to increase ride height on a wet setup.

Sutton was really flying! That was an Autobahn move on Butcher for the lead
Rear wheel drives were way more racey in these conditions |

Anybody else noticing that Sutton has been repeatedly hitting and getting air of the same kerb in Race 1 and 2? Can't imagine his Engineers being to happy about it.

What great racing we're enjoying in the BTCC at Oulton so far
So many brilliant passes, and once again Sutton proves he is the best at overtaking of all of them, and that's quite a high standard in of itself Fair play to the race directors for not panicking like so many other series do in the wet and throwing a safety car or a red flag just for a bit of water. Especially in the Ginetta race, where a few spins at T1 would've been a SC period for pretty much any other championship, but instead lead to the best bit of racing of the day so far as the leaders went side by side through the last lap BTCC racing is consistantly good, a lot of series can learn a lot from it IMO |

Wow that was a hell of a move for the lead by King in the Porches, Cascades is certainly the place to be today.

Well Oliphant got screwed over there, assuming they were planning to swap the positions back 😂
Not sure what happened to Thompson, seemed like a problem with how quick he dropped back. ...Glad to be going to a "FWD" circuit next! |

Another great BTCC raceday, some of the best racing on the planet atm
Also it's nice that SOME championships don't have a BCE LTD RAIN REPELLOR (TM) and are able to have rain fall on them. Rain always makes motorsport more fun. |

Disappointing that the race ended prematurely, fight for win could've been interesting in last laps and Turkington could've made it.

God the BTCC facebook page is even more toxic than usual after that race. Apparently Hamilton has crashed in every single race this season....
