Least Fullwood/Fiore got home inside the top ten for BJR.
From the couch potato’s in-depth analysis of the event, -SVG/Tander couldn’t fault their drive and it seem to run on rails all day -Stanawy//Murphy standout performance across the event, could have been very interesting if Sunday had been a wet race, - Big balls award goes to Will Davison for admitting it was driver error, - Low profile award Lowndes/ Fraser, - thought Supercheap would have bombarded the event with commercials, - thought that there would been a little bit more about Brocks 1972 victory, - no need to buy a lotto ticket this week Jamie Whincup, - hardluck stories- Heimgartner/Wood, Brown/Perkins and Waters/Moffat. Next stop Gold Coast. |

I thought Mr Ojeda did very well at the weekend.
Calm and didnt seem to hurt the equipment. Same as the Caltex Techron MCM wildcard.. Mr Chahda and Mr Robotham didnt scratch the toy, and would have been even further up had a brake caliper not failed |

Chahda and Robotham put in a good effort, hopefully may pickup a drive in the 2023 Bathurst 1000.
Hopefully a few drivers from this year, may not get an invitation back for next years event. Thought King Charles and bride might have made an appearance over the weekend, shared a couple of slabs with the troops up on top hill. The king could have punted the Colin Bond XU-1 around in a few hot laps, in the lead up to the start of the great race. |

Too many paydrivers.
Not sure if that will get better when every team has to buy new cars for next season. |

Safety Car Boards and Flags, means you should be looking out for recovery vehicles on circuit, even when they are off the racing line. They need to fix the interpretation of "Safety" in Safety Car, but that would hurt the entertainment. |

If you have the rears locked and you downshift, the dogs clash and it spits it back out of gear and you lose engine braking and lock up totally. The downchange sounded really "crunchy" to me and that is what I had assumed. The data would show it I guess. |

I was a bit surprised that with state of hell corner, that a few teams didn’t elect to start from pit lane?

Having no minimum sector times under safety car these days is just irresponsible. |

How did D'Alberto not get penalised for spinning Winterbottom when Wood had crashed? Clear contact with yellow flags out, thought there was a chance the penalty could be more than a plp.

Probably harsh of me to say Goddard shouldn't get another drive - I'm OK with the pass in the chase after all it is racing but the re entry was very ordinary

if you look at Davison's off it was pretty obvious he was out of control so it's possible that once Goddard got the boot into it too much, he couldn't slow down or meaningfully change direction. Unfortunately the priority should be rejoining safely, not rejoining while losing the least number of positions. But I guess his drama served the rest of the field to pull their heads in a little bit. |
