Come In Spinner!
This is what you call a drama with the rear-end set-up.
After this session I went back into pitlane and asked for the team to throw the car in the bin and start again. hehehe We still qualified in the top 10 which really shocked me, but later on the rear end wasn't the problem, as you may have already seen from the in-car footage posted in this forum a week or two ago. Enjoy! Well it was a fun ride whilst it lasted, and didn't lose any tyres as a result, just ran a pretty crappy lap time. If you want to have a look at more images like these shoot across to www.inetpics.com Justin Deeley took these and as you can see he is a pretty awesome photographer. Check his stuff out at the above mentioned website. Cam |

Think I see the problem...
Great shots, great looking car, good to see the skirts weren't to damaged either!
However, if you are hoping to try and slow these oversteer spins with the petrol filler air-brake then it will need to be bigger! |

Thanks guys,
The car doesn't look as good now after I stuck it into a wall head on the day after this photo was taken. We are currently fixing it and it will be as good as new in a couple of weeks time. However I am still looking to build a new car. The plan however is to go F3 racing in the next year or two, but to hold onto the Improved Production car for a bit of fun on odd weekends, and to keep me in a seat. All depends on the dollars I find. But I think I am going to get these photos framed. Cam |

I was working on the FF in the garage next to you at PI. If I had known I would of come and said hello. Maybe next time. The car did look good at that meeting. You race was pretty wet from memory. We were lucky it dried out a bit by the time our race came around. I'm sure the guys will have it looking smick again for you soon. |

Redback,
Well next time we are at the same circuit come and say hello. Were you working with Ian Dyk or one of the Victorian guys? Cam |

Cam, that is a really well presented car.
By the way, those numbers contravene Schedule K of the CAMS Manual. Ha ha, i beat RaceTime to the punch. |

Thanks David,
Yes, yes, yes I know about my numbers. But they look good don't they? My team has been having this discussion with Peter Lawrence all year. He keeps telling us to change them so I got a couple of Clerks of Course to ask him why PROCAR, AVESCO, the former PowerTour guys were all allowed to run different numbers and we weren't. Basically it all comes down to the fact that we don't pay any money for the right to run our own numbers. What is the deal with that? I will say no more. But now the car is being fixed up I will have to change the numbers over. I am even thinking of a new paint job. Move to the Ford Barra Blue!!! Should look schmick on the little car. Cam |

That's the way of the world, either you have to be rich and famous or you have to follow the rules.
Which Barra blue, the dark one or the really bright one? |

The ligter blue, that they have been using on the show cars is a really cool colour, go for it.

I think I will need to get sponsorship from a TAFE or Panel Beater/Painter if I am going to get that paint job though.
I also wanted to build a new car and sell that one, but it is all a matter of money. But yes, the showcar blue is an awesome colour for a race car. Cam |
