2003 Cup Champion

Well, I said it was coming; and now we've had 1 race to see how things are looking, and we've said who's in the hunt - who's the actual person that's going to walk away with the trophy at the end of the year?

Not to mention the Bud Shootout isn't even a points race. How can you see "who's in the hunt" when the season hasn't even started yet...

Sorry people- But the dude that most forums have polled to be the Dude to win the cup this year- isn't even on your list.

Statistics state that Dale Earnhardt Jr is the one that most think will do it in 2003.

Jeffie may have been stout- he wasn't the one to beat.

BTW- Hey Tramp! What ya been up to?? Haven't seen ya in a LONG time!

Jeff Gordon IMO will be the WC Champ,He's also picked in the NASCAR media pre-season poll as well!
I do believe that Bobby Labonte will be back to form & IMO will finish 7th position, altho a higher finish would be most welcome!
I can't believe that so many People are picking Dale Jr. to win the Cup this year as IMO He's not shown very much to Me other than the RP races & those only account for 4 point races a year, until He's able to perform better at the non-RP races on a consistant basis I don't really see Him winning a Cup anytime in the near future,JMO!Yes,I realize that Dale Jr. has won non-RP races, but the key word here is on a consistant basis, which IMO He hasn't been able to do yet,JMO!

Never said it was points race - I said it was a race! With this game we could start this poll after about 4 races, and still really be non the wiser. All it does is give an idea (as the Shootout guys were really the contenders) that everyone's still on form, coping with any new cars, and that the pit crew doesn't consist of a group of guys with walking sticks!

Ah 24T--- It's like this----Jeffie will be far too distracted with his x-wifey to do anything. Jr had a bad mid- season last year due to a concusion. he had a decent finish--but a bit too late. All you have to do is to listen to the reports of what he is saying to the media, to know that he is all business & serious this year.

Ya know- ya shouldn't doubt me. I have a dang good record for these things.

I like "little e" but I was really begging to get sick of the announcers going on and on about how good he is.
Seems like he was still down a lap at he end.
