JHeynes,
Cheers bud! Guess Autosport got it wrong again! Roland was really on it last year, just unlucky sometimes. Good to see HTML have signed him for 2003. ;-) |

24 car's on the grid is excellent and if Roland get's hooked up like he was at the end of last year he'll be quite a force.
Hakkiman I'm at work at the mo' and if I lean out of my window and look right I can see "the Rock", I actually live just outside of Rushden and as a self confessed petrolhead I consider myself pretty fortunate having Silverstone, Rockingham and Santa Pod pretty much on the doorstep. |

I was just viewing the Rockingham ASCAR preview and they mention loads of the driver's but not play dough, I assume he definitely is still racing this year?

Jason was at Croft last weekend fronting this new SEAT championship docu-soap thingy for ITV... and getting in the way!! ;-)
As far as I know he's got a contract with Rockingham for 2003. Whether that means ASCAR or not I don't know. |

We feel that Andrew Kirkaldy is fairly useless so should fit in well in ASCAR! What do you think?

On what grounds do you base you opinion of Mr Kirkaldy? Are you just another of the know nothing web comunity with nothing better to do than slag of people with more talent on the end of their finger than you could hope to posses in a life time? Or is it based on some factual evidence.......

Believe me...the 30+ grid is possible. There are alot of drivers and teams who definately do want to join this year. But that is not possible at the moment for one reason:
There arent enough ASCAR's around these shores. Rockingham was so overwhelmed with interest, that they just dont have enough cars here for those who are thinking seriously about joining the grid during the year. And to answer the question why there arent enough cars here...they all have to be imported from America as they are ASA cars. There arent any companies in England that actually build the cars, maybe in the future there will be but not for the first few years. So yea...despite the amount of crashes that happened on Sunday (poor racing by my stand of opinion, the pickups were excellant though), this should be a great year. You wont know who will win the Championship till the last race!...but...im betting on Michael Vergers (Flying Dutchman!!) |
