This is very sad indeed. It's a side of the sport that we all hate, but it is nevertheless a side of the sport.
My thoughts are with his family and friends, in particular his wife Makiko, his son Ikko and his new born girl. RIP Daijiro |

What a beautiful and moving tribute by Sete today - his words at the end reduced me to tears and his on-track performance was the greatest tribute he could give to his fallen team-mate, with a win and a pole.

Asha did you notice Sete pointing to the 74 on his racesuit and then the sky on sunday again? Its magic the way he has responded is'nt it? What he has done for Fausto's team is unbeleivable.

Yeah at Le Mans on the victory lap he was standing on the pegs and pointing to the number on his shoulder, it was really great. Sete really is a sweet guy, i wish him all the best. He is riding so well, both in the wet and the dry, without a doubt he is in the best form of his career.
