Good Question...
They seamed to make life easier, but they are somewhat ineffecient... Some of them gobble up to 30% of the power and they're seems to be some lag in the response. The advantage is that you are always in the powerband. They are very popular in Solo 2 racing with the A-modifieds categorie. Personnaly I think a paddle shift sequential transmission would be to have for a modern Can-AM. Fred |

The one thing I never understand with F1 is why the ban things when it's supposed to be the most technologically advanced series. I understand that at a point it might become too advanced, if that is possible, but still.

F1 bans thing in order to control the escaltion cost based on their inhability to understand such devices.....
