Edmonton should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Cvt

In a modern CanAm would a CVT be the transmission to have?

Good Question...

They seamed to make life easier, but they are somewhat ineffecient... Some of them gobble up to 30% of the power and they're seems to be some lag in the response. The advantage is that you are always in the powerband. They are very popular in Solo 2 racing with the A-modifieds categorie.

Personnaly I think a paddle shift sequential transmission would be to have for a modern Can-AM.

Think not, Williams tested a F1 car with CVT in 1993.

The one thing I never understand with F1 is why the ban things when it's supposed to be the most technologically advanced series. I understand that at a point it might become too advanced, if that is possible, but still.

F1 bans thing in order to control the escaltion cost based on their inhability to understand such devices.....

CVT make for some boring engine noise. It's always wide open. I have always enjoyed hearing the engine go up and down the rev. Try this link to see what I mean http://www.novustelecom.net/~fkassam...om-farzaan.mpg
