Not hard to figure out where much of BAR's success has come from now is it? As I've said before...it must be nice to come and eat in someone's home without really doing any of the work.

I absolutely agree. It is unfair to them. What i also find unfair is to say that JV (i know....had to bring it up ) did build and dedicate his career to BAR. Granted it didn't turn out the way it was dreamed up to be....but you can't discount the hard work he put into it. He had an offer in 2001 to switch to Renault which he declined. That was classy of him (regardless of what you think about him) to stick w/ a mediocare team and keep pushing for mediocare results.

New management comes in and viola....button sato and davidson are VERY competitive. But again....not to take anything away from them. They needed a change. However i don't think the way they did it was appropriate. Richared should have kept both of them....JV should have renegotiated his contract and slashed his salary by 2/3 and they'd be set. I don't think anyone on this board would question JV's talent vs. Taku. But Taku has done a hell of a job.

Question to all naysayers....what would have happened if the Ferrari/TGF thing didn't work out and the BAR/Villenuve thing did? Just curious.......
