Reported from enews,

Alan East will enter his Evo IX with Des & David Wall + Trevor Symonds behind the wheel. Also Chris Delfsma and Dean Neville will race in Delfsma's ex BF GT he has acquired for the race.

Anyone seen an entry list for the 6 Hour yet? Looks like it will be a great event with the Briffa/D'Agostin HSV a real darkhorse.
Also, I've seen the entry list for the Saloon Cars, so does anyone know where I might be able to find entry lists for any of the other support categories?

Has this car been updated at all?

Has seemed to be short on pace after Mr Bowe stopped his occational drives and the new owners took over.

The car is being prepared by Garry Mennell who used to work on the car for Chris. It should be in a much faster state than it's last few outings.

There's a link to the entry list down on the bottom right.

At this stage there's 28 cars in the Dial Before You Dig Australian Six Hour, 29 in the Australian Saloon Car Series, 18 HQ Holdens, 14 in the Mazda MX5 Challenge.

Stay tuned on Sunday for the live streaming TV!

Sweet. I like that there is more entrants in 1 of the support categorys (saloons), than there is in the feature event.

Can someone post the list on here as i dont have excel which i believe the spreadsheet is from.

XR8 Chick 28 cars is a good field, and i would say that the calibre of the teams, drivers and car preperation is far higher then in some of the support fields so its nothing to be concerned about.

6 hours is a long race for a spectactor around eastern creek though, its no bathurst. I think ill try get to the race but im not sure it will hold my attention to the track for the entire length.

In the end though its not about the spectator as this event is for the competitors and i hope its succesful for them.

Thanks GTR!

Unfortunately still no 135's on the track. Surely those things would be fantastic in the right hands.

Interesting to see a Fiesta XR4 entered, i think the yaris may be slightly outgunned

Interesting to see no Pro Duct cars or WBR STI, anyone know why?

Also is that Graham Lusty's XR6T?

My money would be on one of the three TMR cars, you'd have to think.

I wasn't concerned - I just think its cool that Saloons have a good showing there.

And yeah - I am with you for the spectator thing. As soon as my race is finished sunday morning I will be out of there. Not planning on watching any of the 6 hour race at all. (I never stuck around Bathurst for the 12hr either - packed up and went home as soon as the 2nd race was cancelled)

It's pretty common sight for support categories to be gone asap, especially if they have a lot of travelling to do. Some of the local guys might hang around to spectate though.

I'll be there. Using it as a practice run for my first motorsport photography shoot before I go to Bathurst for the 1st time in October.

It's my first time to Eastern Creek as well. Can you walk around the whole outside of the track's edge without having to turn around and back track?

Yes but it is one helluva walk!

You can drive into the spectator areas at most spots. Turn 2 is always popular and you can then walk around to Turn 1 and 3.

You can also drive out to the top corner (T12) and go around the back of the circuit to Turns 5/6/7.

If inside the circuit, you can walk over to the inside of T1 and shoot from the top of the Subaru Driver Training building, or out the back paddock to the skidpan and shoot the cars coming into T4.

Cheers. It's a 6 hour race, so I'll have a while, although I probably won't stay for the whole thing. Getting back in the car and moving to a different entry sounds like the plan.

Also Paul Morris is lining up alongside Ryan McLeod and Garry Holt in the Astra, while Graham Moore makes a return to racing, behind the wheel of the second Osborne Motorsport Mazda 3 MPS.
