Helmet was definitely lying in second place when he spun on the last lap. He was having trouble keeping with George through the back section (where he spun). It was the bumps that caught him out. It got a little bit rutty towards the end of the day.

He had to wait for all the field to pass before he could turn the car around on track.

He spun at my post and certainly appeared to be in second at that point. He was well up ahead anyway - my heart broke for him because he'd been driving a blinder all day.

All fairly well behaved - although I did have 2 boyos who decided they didn't like my nicely arranged tyres where they were and decided to shift them elsewhere!

A big thank you to the organisers and medical teams for their fast response to our wee marshal emergency in the morning. Also a big thank you to the drivers in that session for their quick and safe session stop - and to all the drivers who came up to various marshals during the day to ask if the marshal in question was alright.

She's fine now and raring to go for the next event but your concern is greatly appreciated by us all.
