Really that much?! Yeah we are for all our events this year... See http://www.superkart.org.uk/Calendar.htm

It's £250 for us (at all events), for practice, qualy and 2 20 minute races. In fact that's £50 more than last year each time to pay for the top track we're racing at this year.

We should get a full grid at Snetterton as well with it being the first round (when I say full I mean 40-50 karts!)

Looks really interesting can also see some gradient which is good, cant wait to get out on track in March. The infield will certainly will make it more technical.

I have not heard as yet what the max number of starters will be on the 300 circuit .. not that it will affect most grids during the year !

I think for 2011 most clubbies will use the 300 configuration as its new and shiny, but for 2012 who knows...

I understand that the 2CV 24hrs will use the new longer configuration and that most of the teams have bought a calendar already for timing purposes !! ... Only joking ..its a great event.

Will they be using the new pit garages planned for near Tyrells as well as the main the paddock so they can change engines half way around a lap in case they do not last the full 3 miles "" You are right Richard - its a great fun event

Rich don't be so cruel! A calendar no, but perhaps a sun dial. At night they'll rely on the position of the stars..yep, a great event, Snett's long distance racing future looks bright!

There's also going to be a drive through stop, at the back of Tyrells, in case the 2CV drivers get hungry.

I tell you, you mock but the 2CV on the BARC/CTCRC stand at Autosport seemed to attract more attention than a F3 and a host of other exoctica so go figure.

Glad to hear it Al,
Have marshalled the 2CV 24hrs for ___ years now, and wouldn't miss it.
In the wet, the 2CV corners faster than anything!

BARC say the Snett 24 will be on the "200" circuit (we had to fight tooth & nail to get the April meet on the "300" because of the extra cost).

Makes quite good sense. I don't think the configuration of the infield would really help 2CVs.

Will be going to the training day on Sunday. Hope to get some recent photos to post.

What day in April Graeme we are there 17/17th April? I have booked in to the inaugural(?) TrackDay on 4th March on the 300 for the bargain discounted price of £107 cant see it being offered at that again so thought I better have some!

Same meeting as us (Caterham Graduates). Apologies if you wanted cheaper entry fees, but we reckoned drivers wanted to play on the new circuit. That's a damn good price for a trackday but I reckon I'll just try to figure it out in qualifying.

Yes it was a 10% discount Autosport Show Special which expired today but still only £119 and its all day open pit lane and 105dbs and on a Friday so for me with a new engine to run in and test and never been on the circuit it was an ideal opportunity. Our race will be a double header so will probably be discounted (I hope).

For a 24 hour race, I think it makes more sense to use the shorter 200 circuit. Marshalling numbers has always been a bit tricky, and with the extra marshals posts on the 300 circuit, I think playing it safe by using the 200 configuration makes sense.
