Good lord, JLOC have entered two cars?!

Not a bad entry, although P2 might be a bit of a non-event if attrition takes its toll. Wasn't expecting Ibanez to be on there!

Do we know anything about Team Hong Kong Racing who have entered a Vantage? Related to anyone who has run one of those before?

They split the few "race parts" on two cars ...

"Doesn't exist in Japan" is a misnomer! That the Acura brand is not sold in Japan yet, is a far cry from it not having any presence there.

They are not related to any other Vantage GT2 team as far as I am aware.

They ran the Vantage in the 2009 Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race.

And it is their Vantage GT2, I think.

Oh my.......

Im guessing JLOC are going to use one car to produce spares for the other. Strategy for the first car is to complete one lap and the second car is to start the race...if there are enough parts on it for it to actually race.

I cant belive ACO gave JLOC another entry after the Le Mans debacle.

I dont know what chassis number the car is but it has been racing in Super GT apparently Hitotsuyma are racing the car. They raced the 550 in JLMC and Super GT and the McLaren F1 in JGTC. They should do well.

All the Chinese drivers are gentlemen drivers. Philip Ma and Michael Choi raced in FIA GT Zhuhai in 2004 in a Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT and finished way back.

When did the RLR M3 step up? + Two Felbermayr cars!
That sure is fantastic news.

Interesting that Mazda are an event sponsor and yet the only Mazda powered car is the Oak racing Pescarolo - could there be more to come?

RLR is just reserving a spot in the race. Further review will be required for them to show up. In terms of diversity, that is a pretty good GT2 grid. Outside of RLR I don't see a team with the capability to run away with the win either.

I'd expect movement in both directions - There are a couple on the list of 23 that look a little shakey but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see an addition or two.

Its a reasonable start - nothing more - But it IS a start

Could their (there) be a better GT2? You're kidding, of course. Eight mediocre entries? Two on Hankook tires? Thanks. I really do appreciate a little levity on these boards!
