I bet there's a few drivers in Europe keen to go out for the Aus GP support, like Senna did this year. And Zhuhai, if it happens.

Looks like they've finally given up and joined the Australian championship.

They are not giving up, they are setting themselves up to become a Winter Series from 07-08 season onwards, so that more European and Japanese drivers may join the series.

referr to S_Fox and Cheyne
AF3 Pacific series just a sub. series of it
now main series has been switch to winter status
so that is not equal to Batangas dropped
(be honest no Batangas AF3 same as DTM no Hockenheim)

btw,I heard champ motorsport is going to join Pacific series too

It is good to hear that interest is quite high, I hope we see some good races in 2007.

Oh, the final round has been moved one week ahead to 23-24 June.

Are you sure that Grubmüller is doing the whole season, not just the first round at Zuhai?

I'm not sure of anything...

I just read another version of the article that about Forsman. It seems that it's only finalized that Forsman will drive the Zuhai rounds and the rest if he can get his hand on some more money. Otherwise he will run in the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC series for Trackstar Racing.

Just read that Asian F3 champion James Winslow will race in the Australian f3 championship in 2007. Very strange move IMO, it isn't a step up.

Is he racing the whole season or just the F1 support race though?

Full season, driving a Neil Brown Mugen Honda powered ex-Fortec Racing F304. Looks like James will also be living down here and working with the Piccola outfit between rounds on driver training and similar thigns.

Aus F3 is, in the grand schemes of all things Formula 3, More affordable than most. But Piccola are a quite well recourced team and have a good lineup of sponsors lined up for this year so it wouldn't surprise me if it was a good deal for James..
