Mallory Chicane for next Mini race?

Am I right in thinking the chicane will be in use for the next Mighty Mini race (July 13th)...if so, I think it will see just as much body panel bending as there was at Pembrey's Hatchetts Hairpin (poor ol'Ben Seyfried)last weekend!

The results are on MST...have a look in the BARC section rather than BRSCC.

Poor ol' Ben took 2 big hits from Le-May in race 1 and in race 2 -from Kirbs. Fair amount of damage happened at the Hairpin including a hefty bang into the drivers door of Simes's car at the same place! Eli did well-running in 3rd for much one race. Steve Kirby actually lead the Mighty's for a short while-Ford's car ran better in race 2 after fitting a new fuel pump and ran in 3rd-until attention from Nev put paid to that! Maria qual'fd 3rd from last in race 1-and had to see the C.O.C after race 2-walking out with some points on her ticket and a Disq' from race 2!(apparent overtaking under yellows)Theres loads more to tell but will see you at Mallory (panel bending) Park!

Can't wait for Mallory on Sunday. Should be great fun - and the weather will be good too.

If nothing else, it's going to be worth it to see the Super Mighty Mini's and the Morgan Three-Wheeler's together on track!

Who's daft idea was that?

Fully clothed Mini's mixing with fragile Morgan 3 wheelers. Sorry I think that's a recipe for disaster. Hope I'm proved wrong.

I suspect that after they have seen the driving standards prevalent in Mini racing the Morgan drivers will run away & hide!

Its a JOKE!!! (or is it???)

Q: Why do trainee marshals love Minis?

A: They guarantee an upgrading signature!

They very sensibly decided to keep the Morgans and the mini's separate.

What else happened? Er... I met up with Maisie, Chris Y, Tim D, Snapper Baz (very briefly - he probably doesn't recognise me) and another of our (non) Ten-Tenth's pals turned up. I've got a back that glows red (sunburn - in spite of the sunscreen). My family enjoyed themselves, I took lots of pictures, the 3-wheeled Morgans used the chicane but the mini's didn't. It was scorchingly hot, great fun and I wish the minis were racing there again.

PS: also found a large ring spanner that dropped out of a Super Mighty Mini at the hairpin on lap one-any one know who's it was! PPS: There seemed to be two young ladies who seemed to be interested only in the Mini's spectating on the left entering the hairpin...any ten tenthers I wonder??

that was a VERY smart decision not to have Morgans on the tarmac as the Minis! The only reason I'm popping in is that somewhere around here in Montreal there is a blue Morgan 3 wheeler that i saw last summer going the other way and haven't seen since--extremely rare, especially around here. Probably one of only a handful in Canada.

Hello all.

Can I add that the picture posted by Kelvin is excellent!

I suspect there'll be some Morgan fans looking to you to make it into a poster!
