Looks like SRT have just commited a full season 2 cars for the ALMS ..... and have mentioned in the following article that they are interested in a LM entry too .

The reports on McLaren moving to GTE all talked about starting to race the car late during the 2013 season. And by all known bearings, Le Mans is not "late during the season", it's only the 3rd WEC round out of 8. "Late during the season" would be Austin ALMS/WEC, Petit Le Mans or one of the Asian WEC rounds.

Yeah, it does look good. Since it was funded by someone other than Lotus, I'm not too worried about it being a flop. It'd be good for the Lotus team to have a nice car, too, since they had some really good drivers.

That would be really neat. Reliability has been a strong point for the Viper, so an endurance race might suit it.

Lamy and Minassian would sound right for 8Star, Sarrazin and Ant are both in the Toyota camp for the WEC and Le Mans as far as we're all aware.

Changes: I've cut TRG off the list because of the lack of development after their big announcements... it was a long shot anyway. I've also fixed the Audi lineup and added 2 ESM Ferraris to the mix. I also updated the Lotus T128 as the car for the #31 and #32 Lotus and shortened the names by cutting out what engine they are running in LMP1 and LMP2. I also added 8Star and a 2nd Greaves car.

I think its been pretty well established that their won't be any McLarens at LeMans in 2013, unfortunate though that may be.

OAK Racing, according to John Dagys, are asking for their Morgan LMP2 back from Conquest Endurance. It puts their Le Mans participation (as well as ALMS) in jeopardy.

It's sad how few auto-invites from the ALMS ever make it to Le Mans, but that's just how it goes, I guess. American sports car racing is so unstable that what you fully intend to do in October falls apart by January.
