nicker less should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Barry Nuttly

I've just finished watching the Doninton live races from 97 and it was him and Cox doing the commentating.

What did you make of this bloke who didn't seem to excited by car racing and also burped on live TV!
Rather than describing the action (and there was quite a bit of it!) when Rydell, Reid, Watts, Bintcliffe came down to the chicane all together, he would rather babble on about Biela having yellow wing mirrors and Bintcliffe having white wing mirrors!!
Also while Cleland in the middle of a frantic battle, Barry thought it would be a good idea to talk to him while holding off two cars and trying to pass two others! John gave a pretty good answer. "NO, i'm far to busy...!"

What did you make of him?

When people say Alan Hyde's voice is like gravel, Barry Nutterly's voice was like a whole quarry!

It's obviously bad judgement of Barry's part, but it must have made for a hilarious audio clip!!

He has the voice of a coffee grinder!

Never been a fan of his really, but anyone is better than James Allen on F1....
