Barrie should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Barry Squibb

Mentioned today Barry Squibb will be returning too rallycross next season. Didn't say what division, expect he may look to buy a supercar though.

Excellent news if it's true! With Carnegies, McCluskey's and Cross' cars for sale he shouldn't have a problem getting hold of one.

Won't be Carnegie's. He has decided to do the whole of next season. Guess that means car's not for sale anymore.

Welcome back Barry, it's been a while but it'll be nice to have you back. He always struck me as being an unlucky driver, but after yesterday's rate of attrition in the finals, that could be said about more than one driver.

It could be carnegies, as he says himself "The cars always for sale, if it sells tomorrow i retire tomorrow", so it is for sale...

Nobody know what div he is going into ? would be nice to have more drivers in supercar or modified....

Arthur Debenham also mentioned a return to the sport for Barry Hathaway would you believe. 1987 I think he last was envolved in rallycross.

I think you are right Barrie, Barry had hi;s old Metro with the club spec engine in it, sponsored by Craft kitchens in yellow and white if I remember.
Barry has been competing still though, in autograss in one of those wicked bike engined specials. Will be interesting to see how he goes iof he comes back, must be getting on a bit!!
