2009 plans

OK so 2009 is well upon us , its time to pull the kart out , dust it off and spruce it up and put all the go faster bits on it that you gatherede over the christmas period.

So what are you karting plans for 2009 ?
are you giving up ,charging forward or completely unsure ?

I am running my Arrow Amax in TAG 125cc class in Australia.
I will be running the restricted class as I need 6 signatures before I can take it out and have 4 more to go.
Im hoping for a good year , with hopefully not much damage and maybe a few podiums and race wins to boot.

2008 i finished 4th in the championship so this year I am aiming for at least 3rd , so I will see how I go.

What are you up to this year ?

Well I had hoped to defend my title from last year but currently I have got a frozen shoulder and am being told I shouldnt race. So looks like a lot of spectating and fixing other people karts... Typical isnt it, first time I get the number 1 plate and all I can affix it to is my sandwich box for work.

The speed is higher, but it certainly costs a lot less in bodywork. I've only ever had 1 new nose cone and a rear wing element, both my fault for going grass tracking at cadwell.

I have my son racing in Junior TKM 4s this year as a novice. We are doing the south eastern F6 series.

So far had a nasty arm injuring crash in the first race at Buckmore but that didn't put him off as he finished a creditable 5th at Lydd the next time out. Bayford Meadows this weekend is the next round of the series.

My nephew is doing the Rotax S1 year in the junior max class, not doing too good after the first couple of races but hopes for improvements next time out.

Will definitely be going to Cadwell for the Kart GP, not to be missed, but will miss theTKM festival in August due to our holiday clashing.
