Zandvoort keeping it's summer slot rather than returning to the last weekend in August.
Brands on what is usually the BTCC weekend at Knockhill? |

I'm afraid Brands Hatch is on the indy-track again? I watched the race on German TV in 2006, and I remember Klaus Ludwig ranting about it, when his co-commentator said that some see Brands Hatch as a mini-nuerburgring. I'm quite sure that the people he spoke to must have meant the GP-loop... Although even that is hard to compare with the real Nuerburgring.
Anyway, I think DTM should race the GP-loop because of the lenght of the race, and the lack of challenge in the indy-circuit. Yea, I know, limited amount of days at the GP-loop available, public-friendly etc.. |

I thought they couldn't use the GP loop because the people who live near the track don't want that. I thought the track could only use that loop a few times per year.

Its my understanding that the DTM organisation asked for the Indy loop and don't want to run on the GP circiut |

The Brands round clashes with the Silverstone round of the BTCC. Not the best planning but it seems the BTCC would move their date so it will be a case of spending one day at Silverstone and the other at Brands!
