Marshalling in Australia
Hey guys, just wondering how someone could possibly get into marshalling in Aus.
I'm in Adelaide, and there is only 1 permanent track here, but clipsal is the main reason for the interest Does anyone know any sites, or have any info (such as specific requirements needed, like first aid etc) Cheers. |

Hey stealthy, I know it is irregular but AIR does run events, they have a round of AMRS as well as other events, they don't align with CAMS, but they are insured for your benifit.
You could also get into speedway as well. |

How often are the ARMS rounds, and at risk of sounding stupid, what is it exactly?
I take it CAMS run the super trucks/saloon cars etc that have a round at mallala? Not really into speedway, went as a spectator once and went home filthy, although i spose sitting on the 'inside' of the track wouldn't be as dirty haha |

SAMROA is the go in SA although I hear some actively discourage attending AASA events (VFT all over again).
Mallala is the only CAMS permanent circuit in operation at present although Hidden Valley's V8 round is also an SA event (or sorts) As mentioned AIR is used for various things under the AASA umbrella. For more info on the CAMS vs AASA saga do a search in the Australian section of 10/10ths for more info as I don't think we need to go over all that again in this section of 10/10ths. |
