silverstone is prob the worst circuit for viewing-mainly due to the bloody spectator fence and length from the track. its also very big (to walk around) e.g. from car parks to paddock to grandstand to best viewing.

id say the best viewing is either where the old ireland esses used to be (on the inside) or on the very end of the green 'silverstone' uncovered grandstand, where youcan see the whole of the complex and the big tv screen. and its only a short walk away from the paddock.

enjoy, but remember totry out donington, nrands and oulton in the future.

Have you had a read of our very own circuit guides http://ten-tenths.accelerator.org/circuitguides/11.html
One of the worst things about Silverstone has to be the high fencing.
We usually seem to end up parking ourselves on the Luffield terracing for the day.

Even if you have a valid press pass, access to good view points is poor.

I've always liked Abbey, especially for some 'last of the late brakers' overtaking. If Silverstone are charging for the seating then it's not that easy to get a good view though.
