Dakar -> Rallycrossdrivers

I was wondering... has there ever been a rallycrossdriver who drove the famous Paris-Dakar rally ??

AFAIK apart from "Ome Jan" also Belgian Johan Moons and possibly even Matti Alamäki (see here: http://fi.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matti_Alam%C3%A4ki).

But don’t ask what it means – my Finnish is somewhat non-existent…

A friend translated, Matti drove Paris-Dakar in the early 90th together with his sisters husband Hjallis Harkima.

Matti has a sister who was a famous Finnish model. She and her husband later had something to do with the organisation of sports events, AFAIR it had possibly something to do with ice-skating or ice-hockey. The Dakar year was 1990, I think. However, I wonder if Matti was the driver or Hjallis’ navigator and what make and model they have competed with.

http://www.leenaharkimo.fi/tyolista.html

Above the website of Matti’s sister. Seemingly she was married to that Harkimo guy from 1989 to 2003 and they were organising an ice-hockey league in the 1990s as well as running the Hartwall-Areena (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hartwall_Areena) at Helsinki. BTW, how can the Finns dare to teach their children such a tongue-twisting language…
