Now, has anyone got details for signing on times please?

I'm not at all sure that post is helpful to anyone.

Well the last one of the season at Oulton, if I don't get to speak to you all tomorrow I would like to thank all the marshals for their support over this season. Take it easy now its wind down time but..... for those who are going to Anglesey get yer wellies and vests out and I will see you there!

Thanks one and all!

I went to this meeting for a few hours as a speccie with my 5yr old son.
What a difference it is not being in orange!
Virtually every marshal I acknowledged appeared to ignore me!!! (Even Dave Brand walked straight past me when I said hello!)

I thought the day was pretty boring........I can't do "Watching" it seems without being involved, so hopefully I'll be back soon!

A definite dampener though was the way I was spoken to by the Chief Pit Marshal when she was clearing the pit lane after the walkabout for the fun cup! Is this how we really speak to the public?
Had I have been a paying member of the public, I doubt I would be returning.

Many thanks to Ali G and Nadine for their kind workd and their support.
Much appreciated.

It was so quiet at Druids that my IO was asleep most of the time...allegedly!

Far be it from me to disagree but ... I thought it was day full of excellent close racing - but then I was at Shell where we had a few moments - including the leader smacking the tyres 2 minutes from the end. And what do you expect of a four hour race - it was bound to be a bit strung out, but when the leader went off, by my reckoning there was less than half a second between him and the second place - come on, what more do you want!!

I've had worse days! I was a little bit disappointed with the TVRs, but the Formula Fords made up for it - two of the best races I've seen this season, & no red flags!

The Fun Cup drivers let me down; there I was at Druids with ten incident marshals, all ready for the big incident & what do we get? One in the gravel right at the end of the practice session & then...nothing...apart from one who drove through the gravel trap - you'd have thought he'd have done the decent thing & buried it, wouldn't you! Loadsa 'spun & continued' when the rain came, though!

I really have had a quiet season!
