Well I know for a fact that the Rear wing of a Formula1 One car produces about maximum 1000N (newtons) of Downforce

It must be at least 600 KG, I've heard that a F1 car can drive upside down at about 280 km/h

600Kgs is ridiculous considering the bad racing we are seeing, I reckon a way to bring back good racing would be to say that cars can only produce 80Kgs of downforce.

its more than that - cos at le mans, my m8 got a pit pass thing and he spoke to an engineer who sed that the cars (at le mans) produce up to 650kg of downforce. now im thinking that f1 cars produce more as they are more aerodynamically efficient.
