How Duratecs go on ACB10s down under?

If we wanted to cut UKFFC budgets this would be the way to go.

Good point re acb10s.

I was told by an "insider" on a top duratec team that they threw three sets of new slicks on each car at a test last week.......what nonsense for a "feeder" formula.

Whoops......off topic....sorry ref....

Exactly 3 times more than they would on ACB10s the drop off on the current slicks is massive on the ACB10s it's very small.

You have to learn to drive and set the car up for that 8-10 mile window so need to test with new rubber.

Certain tyre company won't never agree though.

Just out of interest, what do you reckon the duration / drop off is on acb 10s?

Couple of tenths with ACB10s

Slicks my guess is slightly more than a second if you get the set up right for new rubber and are used to running on it. Never been able to afford to test on new rubber.

I think "slightly more than a second" is a bit hopeful John! Clearly it depends on the length of the lap but I would say up to 0.5 of a sec is more realistic.
