Alan Crook should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Old & New F2s Donington 15th - 16th August

The MSVR meeting at Donington on 15th - 16th August looks very interesting, FIA F2, Historic F2, Lotus Elise, GT Cup, Historic GTs & Interseries.

Anyone not already down to marshal PM either me or Fay, for ES contact Di.

What no FPA? - sulks.

Still the rest of the programme does look good. Does anyone have a timetable out there?

Thanks Garry.

That looks like an excellent couple of days.

Hope we get enough marshals - names to Diane Hardy for ES Team and Fay/Alan for other jobs.

All we need then is some decent weather.

Jim, I wouldn't thought it was possible to have FPA and FIA F2 on the same bill as they use the same trucks to ship the cars and most of the same mechanics.

Just thought I would clarify (to save confusion) that it is the CSCC inter series NOT the group 7 Interserie/Canam race. That is at the Masters meeting the week after.

Ah, thank you - that explains it. My but that man Palmer is a sharp operator.

Mind you after last week's FPA, perhaps they could fit the surviving cars in a box van.

CSCC Interseries is a one off trophy event featuring entrants from their four competitions (Swinging Sixties, Tin Tops, Future Classics and Magnificent 7s). As part of the Masters event, the following week there will be a race for cars that ran in the 1970's Interserie championship.

I am still short of marshals so if anyone still wants to do this meeting please let me know.

Trust me, our post is often late here...I'm gonna give it 'til tomorrow at least.

Fay, would I be right to assume that you could leave some tickets at the paddock gate, if nothing turns up?

Oh no, I've started a panic - sorry!

It's not normally possible to leave passes on the gate - for some reason security chaps won't do it....
