Real fine piece of scheduling, this.

Chicago race follows in 6 days:
Teams have two days' transporter time back to shop, about a day and a half to swap from road course to oval setup, and load for Chicago.

If only the Indy Cars were using the Sportscar Circuit (the one pictured), DF, but they're actually using the Motorcycle Circuit.

More issues for AA today... TK coasted to a stop at the head of pit lane, after not having run too many laps. Went to the garage and did not return...fuel pump drive sort of issue, as a guess.

RHR was manhandling his car, and still couldn't get quick.

No bingles for anybody, just a harmless spin for Alex Lloyd near the end of the session.

Odd placing for Simona, she *looked* quick yesterday in a Jenson button understated sort of way whereas Danica on the runs I saw her on looked considerably slower, much slower.

Milka's not looking too bad for once, she seems to be doing okay at Infineon! Which is the first time that's ever been said this season...

See Baguette's getting there too after that pro move between the 2 crashers at Texas!

Also DF, Sato is just a magnet for accidents, not helped by Jock Clear telling him how to drive in F1!
