Time & TV Schedule - 4:00PM Eastern(Green Flag 4:30PM) - ESPN2

Course Type - 1 Mile Oval

Distance - 200 Laps / 200 Miles

Practice Sessions - Friday, November 12th -12:00pm-1:50pm Eastern & 3:30pm -4:20pm Eastern

Qualifications - Saturday, November 13th - 12:00pm Eastern

**Note - Phoenix (MST) is 2 hours behind Eastern Time

I can't see Danica finishing worse than third unless some bully wrecks her. She owns Phoenix. It's her home race, she's making incredible progress, and has driven the much faster IndyCars there before (meaning going to these slower cars where her competition is a bunch of 20-year-old-never-will-bes will be super easy). I know Dale will give her a great piece of equipment that, paired with her talent and Tony's wisdom, will yield the results they've deserved all along!!!

PIR opened in 1964 and replaced the Arizona State Fairgrounds as the primary racing circuit in the Phoenix area, according to Wikipedia. The track hosted a number of USAC and other open wheel events for the first 2 decades of its existence.

First Cup race held at PIR was in 1988 and was won by the late great Alan Kulwicki (89 event was won by some "awesome" guy from Dawsonville

). Jeff Gordon won the first Busch/NW event there in 1999.

What history will be made this weekend?

Justin Allgaier was the fastest in the 1st practice.. His speed was 132.577 and a lap time of 27.154.

The remaining top 5 were..
